Bank of Baroda Home Loan Interest Rates
Bank of Baroda provides various kinds of home loans. The different home loans are Special Home Loan Package, Baroda Home Loan to Individuals / NRIs / PIOs, Baroda Home Improvement Loan and Baroda Mortgage Loan (Realigned Product). Various documents are required for getting loan. Two types of documents are required. They are personal and financial document. The personal documents are identity proof, address proof and age proof. The applicant can submit Passport, Photo PAN Card, Photo ration card, Voter's identity card, Driving license, Defense identity card and Government identity card for identification purpose. Following documents are submitted for address proof. The documents are Passport, Ration card, Society outgoing bill, Telephone (land/mobile) bill, Electricity bill, Driving license, Voter's identity card and Life Insurance Policy. The documents which can be submitted for age proof are Passport, Birth certificate, valid driving license, Voter's identity card, School leaving certificate, LIC Policy or Premium receipt clearly indicating the applicant's age and Letter from the employer stating the age of the employee. Another important point is that passport only can be used for both personal identities as well for address proof. These are the personal documents to be submitted for loan. The important financial documents are salary slip for employees and salary certificate for self-employed applicants. These are the important document to be submitted for getting a loan. Applicant requiring loan should make proper arrangement of these documents before applying for loan.
There are different interest rates in Bank of Baroda. These interest rates depend upon loan amount. For amounts in range of 5 lakh, the interest rate is 8.5%. For amount in range of 5 lakh to 20 lakh, the interest rate is 9.25%. Bank of Baroda has different service charges. The different service charges are listed below. For the Loans up to Rs. 20/- lakh the service charge will be 0.35%. For Loans above Rs. 20/- lakh the service charge will be 0.40%. The maximum amount that can be charged as service charge is Rs. 15000.
